Follow @BABESKILLS on Instagram, for a daily peek into wellness, clean beauty and mindful motherhood.
Self Improvement:
- Make a vision board.
- Learn to Meditate (try an app like Headspace)
- Take a gratitude walk outside.
- Learn a new skill via an online course (try Skill Share)
- Plan your strategic future starting with your ideal morning.
- Try online workouts. I love Melissa Wood Health.
Self-Care:
- Take a detox bath.
- Do a face mask.
- Start a new book (Where The Crawdads Sing and Little Fires Everywhere were amazing).
- Binge a new show (The Morning Show and Love Is Blind have my vote)
- Plan a vacay for late summer (when it’ll hopefully be safe to travel again).
- Plan and online shop for your spring/summer wardrobe.
Home:
- Clean out your beauty drawer/closet and get rid of expired products or those you don’t use.
- Wash your makeup brushes.
- Clean and organize your closet. Start a donation pile while you’re at it.
- Wash all of your bedding including duvet covers, pillowcases and decorative pillows.
- Start spring cleaning early and do the things you never get to: clean your baseboards, inside/outside of appliances, the laundry room etc.
- Update all the photo frames around your house.
- Organize your junk drawer.
- Clean and sanitize all your kids toys.
Tech & More…
- Clean your tech by organizing and deleting old files (lookin’ at you desktop).
- Print photos from your phone.
- Organize photos into albums.
- Finally complete that baby book.
- Backup and save iPhone videos.
- Turn your iPhone videos into home videos.
With or For Kids:
- Make cookies together.
- Finger paint or play with playdough.
- Let them eat a popsicle in the bath. Don’t ask why but this is highly entertaining of them?!
- Get outside (even if it’s cold. you won’t freeze to death, promise).
- Organize kids’ closets and make a donation pile.
- Dream up a summer bucket list.
Help Others:
- Call or text an old friend.
- Donate to local food shelters. With school closures, many kids might not get access to the only meals they are used to getting in a day. If you’re local to Central Ohio, I suggest donating to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
- Check in on elderly neighbors and family members. See if you can run to the store or on another errand for them.
