What are angel numbers?

I always seem to check the time@ 9:11am& pm, everyday& in other instances. Is this an angel number? Upon calculating my birthday it gave me 333

Wow been seeing 1:11 and 11:11. Had a reading (and seen) 444. The new moon in sagittarius, luck is on your side, card came out for both those piles! Seeing 222 as well and had the new moon in sagittarius card. My sign is sagittarius so it feels triple lucky for me, I guess?
