Chucky Turtleneck Sweater | Suede Moto Jacket (also in olive green & burgundy) | Raw Hem Jeans (similar) | Booties
After I’ve gone through my morning routine and fired up my computer to start the workday, there is ONE thing I always do to set myself up for success. I always eat the frog first.
Eating the frog simply means tackling your “worst” task first, worst usually meaning your most important. With the entire day stretched out in front of you and calls/texts increasingly coming in as the day progresses, it becomes easier to procrastinate and get distracted.
It can be tough to find FOCUS when working from home. I’m always tempted to multi-task, which feels efficient but is actually proven to be less productive.
By eating the frog first not only do I ensure an important task gets done, but it also gives me the energy and motivation to keep powering through my to-do list. The best part is you can go through your day knowing the worst part is behind you!
On that note, I started filming a “day in the life” vlog for you guys since I get a lot of questions about what it’s like to be a blogger and work from home. So stay tuned!
Also, a quick note about my outfit: this suede moto jacket has got to be the best thing I purchased in 2016. It’s under $200, looks MUCH more expensive that it is andddd currently back in stock!
Do you guys have any tips for starting your day off right? How do you ensure productivity?
