Meet Elaina Vazquez. She’s the babe behind luxury catering company Boutique Bites and famous for her stylish mini fare. After working under uber famous chef Joel Robuchon and with a natural passion for food and entertaining, Elaina decided to venture out on her own. “I wanted to bring beautiful, stylish, upscale food to catered parties,” she says of her concept for Boutique Bites.
The mini mogul is now onto her latest project Edible Style, a multi-media venture aimed at bridging the worlds of food and fashion. Elaina is launching the first 5 “looks” through her hard copy Edible Style Guide and has created a lifestyle video series called “Fashion to Fork”, which is focused on styling everything from yourself to your spread, for fabulously fashionable entertaining at home.
So what advice does Alaina have for young, aspiring entrepreneurs? “Pay your dues and keep your contacts and always make an effort to stay on good terms with people you have worked with and admire. As long as people like and respect you, they will always help you.”
This month, we chat with Elaina and get the skinny on the chic chef:
