After 24 hours in Palm Springs, my friends and I made our way to Joshua Tree for the what turned out to be the wellness retreat of my dreams.
We woke up early, hiked JT (which is so stunningly beautiful), took yoga and macrame classes at our AirBnb and finished things off with a delicious brunch made by a private wellness chef!
I’ve gotten a lot of requests on Instagram to share where we stayed + our itinerary so check it out below!
Where To Stay:
We stayed in the dreamiest, boho-desert-chic, Instagram worthy homes. You can book them on AirBnb below:
Where To Eat:
- The Natural Sister’s Cafe– a great breakfast or lunch spot with lots of vegetarian/vegan options and healthy smoothies.
- Pappy + Harriet’s-according to the locals this is a MUST do for good food, live music and cocktails.
- Pie For The People– after a day on the trails we wanted to just relax and smash some carbs. This pizza hit the spot!
- Joshua Tree Coffee Company
What To Do:
- Explore Joshua Tree National Park. We took an 8 hour private tour that I highly recommend.
- Take a yoga class. It’s already so peaceful in Joshua Tree why not capitalize on that with a yoga class in nature? We actually had a yoga teacher come to our house for a private session!
- Following our yoga class we had a wellness chef come to the house to prepare the most amazing meal.
- Take a macramé class! We had our instructor teach us at our AirBnb.
- Visit Pioneertown, a 1940’s movie set made to look like the Wild Wild West!
- Shop for treasures at Coyote Corner-The gift shops have collections of crystals, local coffee and hot sauces.
- Jen’s Pirate Booty has a flagship in JT if you’re wanting to buy some boho chic clothing.
Have you been to Joshua Tree? What did I miss?
