T-Shirt Dress | OTK Boots | Backpack (similar) | Belt (similar here & here)
Before we chat fashion, I must first apologize for my absence. Between a move, end of summer festivities and some professional changes, I’ve been feeling uninspired and downright exhausted. Instead of posting just to post, I decided to step away and take a much needed break from blogging/social media.
As expected, I am back feeling refreshed, inspired and super motivated to bring you VALUABLE content! On that note, I’d love to know what do you guys want to see this fall on babeskills.com? This blog exists because of YOU, so I want to make sure it remains your happy place.
Ok on to the outfit! Wanna know why I love a good t-shirt dress? Let me count the ways…
T-shirt dresses are SUPER versatile. You can dress them up with some over-the-knee boots and a wide belt like I’ve done or even with some chic, pointed ankle booties. Then, you can also dress them down with sneakers or lace-up flats.
T-shirt dresses also work for any season. During the summer you can pair it with sandals and as we transition to fall, an oversized cardigan makes the look more cozy. In the winter, I even love the idea of pairing a t-shirt dress with some fishnets and an oversized denim jacket.
Lastly, my favorite reason to the love t-shirt dress is that they are pretty good at masking a “fat day”. You know, those days when you just feel frumpy and bloated (usually after some late night ZA and vino). We all have them. It’s times like this I reach for my t-shirt dress, throw on some booties and call it day!
Alright loves, I’m off to make this AMAZING lentil and red pepper bake for dinner (sans cheese). The hubs and I try to always do “meatless monday”. Enjoy your evening and get you a shirt dress!!
xx,
Erika
