I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Palm Springs for the first time! It was a quick trip before heading off to Joshua Tree (travel guide coming soon) to celebrate my friend Lauren’s bachelorette!
You might remember Lauren as the Registered Dietitian from my Here Comes The Bride Meal Guide. Fun fact, she also introduced me to MY husband.
Traveling to the west coast marked the furthest and longest I’d be away from baby. So a day of kicking back by the pool, relaxing CBD massages and a fun night on the town was just what this tired mama needed!
My friend’s sisters planned the most fabulous trip and I wanted to share how we made the most of our short time in Palm Springs!
Where To Eat:
- Workshop Kitchen and Bar– We enjoyed drinks and small plates in this GORGEOUS farm-to-table hot spot (pictured below)!
- Chi Chi’s– for lunch at the Avalon hotel.
- Chef Tanya’s Kitchen- grab a delicious vegan sandwich on your way to the airport at this incredible vegan take-out joint!
- Norma’s– enjoy the most indulgent brekki and a mimosa on the patio of the iconic Parker hotel. If you’re staying in the hotel as a guest, you can also grab a (spiked) drink from the cutest lemonade stand. Don’t forget to snag a photo!
- El Jefe– for tacos & tequila.
Where To Stay:
We stayed in a beautiful home of a friend’s but here are some highly recommended hotels…
- The Parker (pictured below) – so perfectly ’70s and you’ll have Instagram content for days!
- Avalon Hotel– the hotel where we did morning yoga and our spa/pool day!
- Other notable hot spots include: The Saguaro (rainbow hotel), Korakia Pensione and The Ace Hotel
What To Do:
- Find the nearest pool, post up and order many cocktails with cute little umbrellas in them.
- Estrella Spa for CBD infused massages.
- Horseback riding along the Santa Rosa mountains. We booked an hour ride with Smoke Tree Stables, which I highly recommend. CHLOÉ even hosted an influencer event here!
- Visit the Moorten Botanical Garden
