Nashville is MUCH more than a honky tonk heaven and while planning my sister’s bachelorette weekend, I was determined that we get the full tour!
We stayed in East Nashville and spent time exploring Midtown and the Gulch neighborhoods, before ending our trip bar hopping on Broadway.
I put together this fun Nashville travel guide for making the most of a Music City:
[line]Where To Stay:
We stayed East Nashville which was described to me as eclectic, “up and coming” and one of the most-desired areas to live and play in Nashville.
This “low-key” neighborhood has TONS of personality, a hot foodie scene and lots of fun bars!
We rented the CUTEST bungalow and made it our homebase for the weekend. This boho-chic bachelorette pad provided a nice retreat from the craziness of Broadway (just 5 miles from the house).
Each bedroom had a different theme, whether it was adorned with old records and vintage touches or rose gold deer heads, I wanted to sleep in every room! There was even a fire pit in the backyard…s’mores anyone?!
Where To Play:
- Pinewood Social (pictured above)- bowling, bocce, an airstream bar and a swimming pool?! When can I move in!
- No 308. -a bar in East Nashville
- TheTreehouse- a bar in East Nashville & spoiler alert there IS an actual treehouse!
- Acme Feed and Seed– if you ARE headed to Broadway St. stop here first for food & live music.
- Broadway Personal Favs: Tootsies & The Stage
Where To Eat:
- Le Sel -for brunch (pictured above).
- Biscuit Love -for brekki. Be prepared to wait in line!
- Mas Tacos- a delicious, no-frills taco joint featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”
- Hattie B’s-no trip to Nashville would be complete without some famous hot chicken.
- Holland House-bar/restaurant in East Nashville.
- Little Octopus- restaurant in The Gulch.
- La Jackson-restaurant in the Gulch. We didn’t make it here but it looks BEYOND.
Have you been to Nashville? What are some of your “can’t miss” spots?!
