On the daily, I am a tinted moisturizer kind of girl. During my summer beauty routine, Tarte is my “go-to” and for winter I revert back to Laure Mercier, an old favorite.
That said, there are times when I need a little more coverage. I like to wear foundation when I’ll be on camera shooting for BABESKILLS or attending weddings and other special events.
A true product junkie, I have tried just about every brand of foundation there is. My favorite has always been MAC studio fix, however in prepping my skin for my wedding I’ve learned it’s just about the WORST out there for your pores.
Armani Foundation Review
After reading so much about the award winning foundation in magazines and other blogs, I am so glad I finally gave Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk Foundation a try because it’s PURE magic.
The liquid is so lightweight and I HATE when foundation feels heavy on my face. It provides full coverage, is build-able and leaves a silky, glowing finish! Oh and it honestly is smells so good, I wish Armani would bottle the scent and sell it as a fragrance.
I’ve been wearing it for 2 months and have no issues with breakouts. I also LOVE that there is a travel size version, because there is NOTHING worse than arriving to your destination with full bottle of foundation leaking ALL over your stuff.
If your curious, I wear color 5.75. It’s an exact match for my winter skin tone. My advice is take 5 minutes and get matched at a beauty counter. As it turns out I was FIVE shades lighter than what I thought I’d be.
