On the top of my Christmas wishlist was the Ole Henriksen “The Works” kit which includes 5 of the line’s bestsellers! I’ve been using the system for about 5 weeks now and I can honestly say I am loving my complexion. Of course, I had to jump online and let you in on the news.
The beauty routine is composed of 5 simple steps which I’ll tell yah alllll about below in this Ole Henriksen review:
1. CLEANSE
African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser -I am a fan of this cleanser because it works just as well as my previous fav, only this verison is ALL NATURAL (no icky parabens and sulfates). And the benefits? African Red Tea strengthens the skin’s outer layer, slows the aging process, calms and soothes the skin!
Bottom Line: making the switch to this cleanser was easy for me.
2. BRIGHTEN*
Truth Serum Collagen Booster– Ole Henriksen dubbed this product “a daily vitamin for your face” and I couldn’t think of a more accurate description! This antioxidant-rich brightening and nourishing serum is enriched with vitamin C and smells a-maz-ing! My complexion was noticeably brighter after just ONE use.
Bottom Line: This was definitely a standout product for me!

3. NOURISH
Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil– made from unfiltered, unprocessed and cold pressed rose hips oil–the major anti-aging component in this skincare system. Packed with vitamin A, vitamin C and high levels of essential fatty acids, this oil helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Bottom Line: This is the one product in the set I could take or leave. I currently use Philosophy’s “When Hope Is Not Enough” as my anti-aging component and will probably stick with it going forward!
4. HYDRATE*
Sheer Transformation– to describe this moisturizer in one word: luxurious! I love this product because the oil-free formula feels so sheer yet quenches my dry winter skin. On top of that, it helps fade discolorations, age spots and sun damage without the use of chemicals!
Bottom Line: Sheer Transformation has quickly replaced ALL of my other facial moisturizers it’s THAT good. I cannot say enough amazing things about this product–run don’t walk to Sephora!

Lemon Strip Flash Peel— This spa grade/professional strength peel is tied for 1st place with Sheer Transformation as my favorite Ole Henriksen product. The peel is powered by lactic, glycolic and fruit acids that exfoliate and resurface skin. The word “acid’ can sound scary and truth be told this mask brings the heat (it’s not unbearable by any means), I encourage you to give it a try!
Bottom Line: The peel increases cell turnover and the results are INSTANT: brighter skin tone and a smoother complexion!
